Sam Dhillon, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
Sam Dhillon is the Chief Executive Officer.
Born and raised in Ladner, British Columbia, Sam is a first-generation Canadian whose parents immigrated from Punjab in the 1970s in search of greater opportunity. Their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to hard work instilled in him the values that continue to shape his approach to leadership and business.
Sam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of British Columbia Okanagan, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Sam assumed leadership of the company in 2010, when it operated a single motel. Since then, he has guided the company's growth into a diversified hospitality and real estate organization employing more than 120 people.
With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality, real estate development, and investment, Sam has developed a comprehensive understanding of the full development lifecycle. Over many years, Sam maintained a hands-on role in the field, managing construction projects as a site foreman, operating heavy equipment, and working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and trades to bring projects from initial planning through completion.
Christopher Misch
Director of Development & Finance
Christopher Misch is the Director of Development & Finance.
Christopher Misch is an award-winning clean technology executive that has over 20 years experience in infrastructure, business development, and raising capital to foster strategic growth. In 2013 he developed the “World’s Longest Green Highway Project” which culminated into an award from New Economy for World’s Best Automotive Solution. As Founder and CEO of one Canada’s first public electric vehicle infrastructure companies, Chris established a trans-Canadian infrastructure network with partnerships at over 70 properties, including top-performing hotels and destination properties. In 2021, Chris’ team received the Scale-Up Limitless Award from Tech Alliance, part of Ontario Centres for Innovation.
A consummate professional, Chris thrives on innovation and prides himself on creating sustainable businesses that have a lasting impact on people and the planet. In his spare time, he is an Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EiR) at Western University’s Morissette Institute for Entrepreneurship through Ivey School of Business.
Ashley Olsen
Director of Hotel Operations
Ashley Olsen is the Director of Hotel Operations.
Ashley oversees the day-to-day operations of the company's hospitality properties, with responsibility for operational standards, guest experience, team development, and overall property performance, while ensuring each property reflects the values and culture of the organization.
With extensive experience in hotel operations, Ashley understands that exceptional hospitality begins with people. Her experience spans front office operations, food and beverage, revenue management, guest services, and property enhancement initiatives, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the many elements that contribute to a successful hotel experience. In addition to her operational responsibilities, Ashley has played an integral role in shaping the interior design and aesthetic direction of the company's properties, helping create spaces that are welcoming, functional, and aligned with the guest experience.
Known for her approachable and hands-on leadership style, Ashley works closely with teams at every level of the organization to provide guidance, support growth, and create a culture built on trust, respect, and collaboration. She is passionate about developing people, recognizing individual strengths, and empowering employees to take pride in the work they do.
